You also get retry logic, real-time job dashboards, and queue management. For a multi-step AI pipeline (triage → research → draft → expert routing), that durability matters.
- **congressional-trading (Python)**: Awkward — Trigger.dev is TypeScript-first. Stick with NanoClaw scheduling or a simple cron.
- **pool-monitor (Python)**: Overkill. NanoClaw's built-in scheduling handles it.

**Tradeoff:** It adds an external cloud dependency (they have self-hosted but it's more work to run). At qip-qien's current stage, you might get most of the benefit from a simpler pattern first (background queue via Redis or even just a standalone job worker). But if you expect high ticket volume or need the visibility into job status, Trigger.dev is the right call.
