# Single-photo provisional coaching

2026-09-15. Added source-bound authored coaching for unpaired subject photos. The three original 2025 JPEGs were visually reviewed; notes live in ignored `single-photo-coaching.json`, separately from joint and lean evidence. H01 focuses on coordinating the head/torso and retaining a comfortable bent arm, with side-view limits on hip offset. H02 focuses on upper-body movement and outside-arm freedom without claiming to see its obscured elbow. H03 notes the visible inside offset, arm arrangement, and a provisional inside-boot clearance check.

General technique wording was checked against [Yamaha Champions Riding School](https://ridelikeachampion.com/why-body-position-matters-at-the-track/) and [Honda](https://global.honda/en/motorcycle-aftersales/plusone/202312.html). These sources do not validate the individual photo assessments. No reference rider, force estimate, exact joint-angle target, or braking/acceleration phase is inferred.

## Verification

- Tests first failed on the absent single-photo API, then passed after implementation.
- Tests cover loading without a reference, photo navigation, reopen, unchanged evidence revision, independent paired-photo behavior, duplicate and source-mismatch rejection, empty notes, and graceful load failure.
- Full suite: 57 tests passed; two opt-in private Vision tests skipped. App build and whitespace checks passed.
- Native inspection showed distinct coaching for H01, H02, and H03, with explicit single-photo labeling. Existing 2026 paired coaching still appeared on launch. The 2025 joint review remained at revision 54.
- Manual review checked source validation, empty/error states, navigation, and preservation of the existing pair-based evaluator. Code review: skipped (ce-code-review unavailable), because the project’s main-thread-only mapping prevents the independent review pipeline. No independent review receipt is claimed.

Reopen the 2025 session to reload local authored notes. If a source-bound file is invalid, coaching is withheld and the photos remain reviewable. New photos require their own assessment; there is no automatic generation or transfer of feedback between photos. No source photographs, manifests, or detection reports were changed.
