# local-reel-lab repository guide

## Purpose and boundary

This is a local-first operating repository for one public local-business showcase account. It is not a rendering engine, client-management app, database, scheduler, API, or social-posting automation project.

Stagehand owns reusable production templates, rendering, customer production configuration, production-rights/approval requirements, and delivery packages. This repo owns the local account's editorial and operating record, including Customer 0. Link to Stagehand package IDs or locations; never duplicate its rendering logic or package contents here.

## Data safety

- Never commit private contact details, raw photos/video/audio, credentials, `.env` files, account-session/cookie data, downloaded packages, or exported analytics.
- Keep tracked records public-safe: public business identifiers, public URLs, status, consent state, and notes suitable for the account's operator.
- Publishing is manual and approved. Do not add browser, mobile, Instagram, or unattended posting automation.

## Working conventions

- Prefer readable Markdown and small CSV/JSON/YAML files until repeated use demonstrates an automation need.
- Use `records/businesses.csv` for prospects and permission status; use `records/editorial-calendar.csv` for the content queue; use one Markdown file per post in `records/posts/`.
- Preserve the CSV headers and status vocabulary documented in their files.
- Put durable, bounded improvement ideas in `observations.md`; do not turn observations into unapproved automation work.

## Verification expectations

There is currently no executable application or test suite. For documentation/record changes, verify Markdown links, CSV headers/status values, template consistency, and `git status --ignored` for accidental sensitive files.

Any future automation must be opt-in, local-first, avoid publishing/account-session automation, document its inputs and failure modes, and include a reproducible test/check command or a specific manual verification procedure before completion.
