## Completed

- Researched federal legal routes and material 2021–2026 developments using statutes, regulations, court opinions, and agency guidance.
- Evaluated reuse of Apple Messages, imessage-exporter, official complaint portals, and legal review.
- Created a bounded pilot plan, preservation guide, private-data exclusions, and blank case/intake templates.
- Checked local access: Messages database read denied; UI filter unusable in the attempted session. No full evidence corpus acquired. Supplied candidate messages and a screenshot were subsequently preserved privately for preliminary assessment.
- Searched second-brain for project/TCPA/robocall/exporter material; no relevant existing note found.

- Added [Texas-specific research](research/texas-supplement.md), including an early deadline screen and California-area-code caveat.

- Received pasted registry confirmation; extracted fields and provenance saved privately. Original email subsequently supplied, preserved byte-for-byte, and matched to the extraction; full-number match remains pending.
- Added [Texas recovery path](research/texas-recovery-path.md), including directly adverse single-text precedent, registration exemptions, the 2025 amendment, evidence requirements and current court fees. No candidate is approved for a demand or filing.

## Pending inputs

1. State/county/use/approximate tenure received and saved in ignored `private/intake.md`. Still needed: relevant residence/contact dates, and documentary ownership evidence.
2. Full-number match for the registry confirmation, and consent/relationship history.
3. Approved export or preserved complete sample conversations.

These block case-specific conclusions and external escalation, not the completed research package. No deadlines have been calculated and no recovery amount estimated.

## Next work

Use the pilot checklist. Establish exact dates and complete existing threads first, screening the Chapter 304 complaint window promptly. Review up to 20 threads and prepare at most three evidence-linked packets. State theories, current precedent and defendant identity still require case-specific review. No monitoring, paid service, software installation, message, complaint, demand, or court filing was initiated by this project.

## Verification limits

Documentation reviewed for local link integrity, required deliverables, sources, and privacy boundaries. No application code exists to test. No independent attorney review or live export validation has occurred. FCC DA 26-12 was available through official indexed text; full PDF retrieval failed, so full-order verification remains explicit before rule implementation.
